Brooks cleaner foam has been developed to clean and restore all Brooks bags’ textile surfaces to their original lustre and shine. To use: Apply a good quantity to a soft cloth and carefully yet thoroughly rub the entire bag. Leave to dry. It cleans delicately. Proofide may be applied to all leather details, allowing it to permeate before polishing off with a soft cloth to avoid getting any on your clothes. *Note: Proofide will darken the leather somewhat which should be considered when using this product.
How do I clean my canvas bag?
If your canvas or synthetic bag becomes soiled, use a sponge and warm water to clean.
A small amount of Proofide can be applied on leather details.
How can I re-wax my canvas bag?
It is a common feature for canvas fabric to show marks and fading colour with everyday use: it is the distinctive trait that allows to make every backpack unique.
Although it is not possible to bring the colour back to life, you can protect it from fading fast. You can use any fabric wax as long as it is just a rub on one.
