This allows the VENA to be more integrated into the mudguard and therefore less vulnerable to shocks. The VENA rearlight offers an ideal opportunity to give your bicycle an extra stylish touch! The VENA features the ground-breaking Light Line Technology©, which spreads the light through a specially shaped light guide. This gave some extra freedom to our designers to let their creativity out. The result is the VENA, which presents a bright red, vertical line following the shape of your rear mudguard. The VENA is available in a dynamo and battery version.
Functions & Performance
Next to being a robust rearlight, the VENA mainly stands out by its high performance. It has 1 bright LED, which creates a light output of 8 Candela and a visibility of the light beam from 500 meters. Together with its integrated reflector, this rearlight offers optimal safety on the road, since you are not only visible from the rear, but also from the sides.
The dynamo version of the VENA features the innovative Safe-Stop function. This function makes the light burn for 4 extra minutes after the bike stops and increases the safety for you as a cyclist tremendously.
The battery version of the VENA has an impressive lifetime of 70h. This is very good for a battery rearlight with this light output, which only needs 2x AAA batteries (supplied with the rearlight). Is your battery almost empty? Don’t worry, because the handy battery load indicator signals you right on time to replace the batteries.
The VENA rearlight is conform to German, French and Danish standards.
